This unit intends to help pupils adapt to the School rules and routines after the holidays through the introduction and understanding of the Grange Profile. It also promotes bonding between pupils and the teacher to facilitate a positive atmosphere enabling optimum learning at School.

Learning Objectives

  • To follow the new school routines because I understand they have been made to keep us all safe.
  • To show responsibility because I understand that my actions have consequences.
  • To share personal experiences and feelings.
  • To show Good Manners. To identify good manners as a polite way of considering others’ feelings.
  • To show kindness and good manners towards my family members.
  • To show kindness and good manners towards my classmates and teachers.
  • To show Spirit of Service and acknowledging that we have to take care of others at School.
  • To show good manners towards my classmates by practicing active listening.
  • To show Spirit of Service everywhere I can. To acknowledge that we have to take care of others and myself at School.
  • To acknowledge we have a social service duty towards our community.
  • To work collaboratively showing TEAM SPIRIT.
  • To acknowledge the importance of teamwork.
  • To understand the value of Fair Play.
  • To understand the concept of tolerance and its importance.
  • To accept others just the way that they are.
  • To see we have attributes in common with classmates as well as characteristics that make me unique.

  • To gain a better understanding of Fair Play through role-play and discussion.
